A territorial dispute among gangs within the Lee Correctional Institution near Bishopville, South Carolina escalated into a chaotic brawl, with cell phones being utilized to facilitate the illegal exchange of contraband. Regrettably, this violent confrontation claimed the lives of seven inmates and caused injuries to 20 others.
